As you know, I’m a proudly South African sport supporter. Seeing Springbok coach Rassie Erasmus front and centre during the Rugby Championship these last couple of weeks reminded me of the time we played a round of golf at Pearl Valley.
It was quite an enjoyable time as you can imagine. I did however notice his crooked fingers, all at different angles. At the halfway house I asked him about it. He just chuckled and said in his playing days he used to tape up his broken fingers as he didn’t want the coaches to relegate him to the bench. All he wanted to do was play, and that he surely did.
This dedication to leading from the front is certainly something Ascot Tours subscribes to as we always deliver on our promise of offering your clients unique experiences that only Africa can offer.
In this week’s newsletter, we extend the invitation to spread the word about the Africa Golf Classic 2025: South Africa where four rounds of golf on some of the best courses in the world are on offer. This exclusive experience was specifically designed for the connoisseur of the sport.
There are also two fantastic add-ons with the 2025 Africa Golf Classic: Pre-trip South Africa and the 2025 Africa Golf Classic: Post-trip South Africa. It combines the thrill of playing golf on another world-class golf course, the adventure of a unique African Big Five safari and exploring the sights and sounds of Cape Town.
At Ascot Tours, we work with travel agents across the world to offer clients exceptional golf trips to Africa. Looking at Mastercard and the experience economy, it seems we’ve been on the right track. It is safe to say we are indeed Master-ing the art of golf travel …
There is also more on the attraction of the Mossel Bay region on South Africa’s Garden Route with the accolades keep rolling in, on the golfing and cultural front. Around the corner from the UNESCO World Heritage Site that is the Pinnacle Point Site Complex, is the Pinnacle Golf Course, a stop on the 2025 Africa Golf Classic: Pre-trip South Africa.
We look forward to sharing many more incredible experiences with you.
